Hiring Type: Contract – Full Time
Location: Bangalore
Work Mode: Hybrid
Experience: 6 – 8 Years
Compensation: Up to 20 lacs per annum (depending on experience).
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP HR Consultant with 6+ years of relevant experience to support SAP HR/HCM development and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ABAP Objects, HR ABAP, and system integrations, along with experience working in SAP support and maintenance projects. The role requires close coordination with functional and technical teams and adherence to SLA- and KPI-driven delivery models.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support HR ABAP solutions in SAP HCM environments
- Develop and enhance ABAP Reports, data conversion programs, and integration interfaces
- Work on HR ABAP developments and integrations between SAP and legacy systems
- Develop and support ALE/IDOC-based integrations
- Participate in SAP maintenance and support projects, handling incidents, enhancements, and change requests
- Collaborate with functional consultants, integration teams, and business stakeholders
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests in line with defined SLAs and KPIs
- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities
- Use standard project and support tools for daily operations and reporting
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant with strong HR ABAP exposure
- Strong working knowledge of ABAP Objects (OOPs)

Hands-on experience in:
- HR ABAP development
- ABAP Reports
- Data conversion programs
- SAP integration processes
- Good working knowledge of ALE/IDOCs
- Experience integrating SAP HR with legacy or third-party systems
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Tools & Environment Experience
- Experience working in SAP Maintenance / Support projects

Hands-on exposure to:
- Incident Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Testing tools (e.g., Quality Center, Rational Tester)
- Document management tools (e.g., SharePoint, TeamPlace)
- Familiarity with day-to-day productivity and collaboration tools

- Good communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to support in CET time zone
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global support team
