HR Executive – ITC Limited (India Tobacco Division)

About the Role
ITC Limited is looking for an HR Executive to support factory HR operations, manpower planning, recruitment, payroll administration, employee engagement, and statutory compliance. The role requires a strong understanding of HR processes, employee lifecycle management, compensation administration, and industrial relations in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee Administration
- Manage employee records, personal files, and HR documentation.
- Support payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee welfare initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, labor laws, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate HR databases and employee information systems.
Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Assist in workforce planning based on business requirements, crewing norms, and attrition trends.
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Support competency-based hiring and talent acquisition initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits
- Assist in salary benchmarking and compensation fitment exercises.
- Support administration of employee benefits, incentives, and HR policies.
- Monitor payroll inputs and ensure timely processing.
HR Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare and circulate weekly, monthly, and quarterly HR reports.
- Track manpower metrics, attrition, recruitment status, and HR budgets.
- Provide HR data and insights to support decision-making.
Budget Management
- Assist in preparation and monitoring of HR budgets.
- Track monthly expenses and analyze budget variances.
- Ensure effective utilization of HR resources and expenditure control.
Employee Engagement & Communication
- Manage internal communication platforms and employee engagement activities.
- Coordinate employee newsletters, magazines, and communication campaigns.
- Support initiatives aimed at enhancing employee morale and workplace culture.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Understanding of labor laws, statutory compliance, wage and salary administration.
- Knowledge of payroll processing and employee benefits administration.
- Familiarity with manpower planning, recruitment, and onboarding processes.
- Awareness of HRMS systems and HR analytics/reporting tools.
- Understanding of training & development practices and organizational behavior.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Educational Qualification
- MBA in Human Resource Management / Personnel Management preferred.
- Graduation in any discipline with relevant HR experience.
