As a Knowledge Management Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our HR portal, ensuring employees can easily access relevant information. You will collaborate with HR teams, subject matter experts, and IT to structure content effectively, improve user experience, and support portal enhancements.



Responsibilities

Content Management

  • Maintain, update, and publish HR portal content ensuring accuracy and policy compliance
  • Establish and enforce content governance standards, taxonomy, and metadata
  • Conduct periodic content audits to remove outdated or duplicate information
  • Manage the complete content lifecycle (creation to retirement)

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with HR teams and subject matter experts to curate audience-specific content
  • Translate complex HR policies into clear, user-friendly formats
  • Provide guidance on content standards, accessibility, and usability

Portal Administration

  • Act as primary administrator for the HR portal platform
  • Troubleshoot technical content or system issues
  • Document processes and create training materials for contributors

Technology & Enhancements

  • Support portal upgrades and enhancement initiatives
  • Collaborate with IT to implement new features and improvements
  • Evaluate new tools, including AI-driven content and search capabilities (SEO)
  • Evaluate and implement AI-powered customer support tools in intranet platforms

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor portal usage, search trends, and engagement metrics
  • Generate reports on content performance
  • Recommend improvements based on data insights


Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Communications, HR, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in knowledge management, content management, or intranet platforms

Technical Skills

  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) or Knowledge Management Systems (KMS)
  • Solid understanding of information architecture and content structuring
  • Strong content writing and editing skills
  • A good grasp of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and search functionality
  • Experience in implementing AI-enabled content, search tools and customer interactions  for intranet platforms
