Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic ServiceNow Technical Lead with 7+ years of deep platform experience to lead HR Digital Transformation initiatives. The role serves as the primary technical authority for the HR Service Delivery (HRSD) ecosystem, architecting scalable workflows that elevate the employee experience, and leverages Performance Analytics (PA) to design advanced, data-driven dashboards and reporting frameworks that deliver actionable workforce insights to executive leadership. You will act as the bridge between HR business stakeholders and technical execution teams, managing developers to design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical design, roadmap, and configuration of the ServiceNow platform, enforcing rigorous development standards, code reviews, and instance architecture best practices.
  • Architect and deliver complex, end-to-end HRSD implementations including HR Case Management, Lifecycle Events (Onboarding/Offboarding), Employee Center / Service Portal customization, HR Knowledge Management, and Enterprise Onboarding workflows.
  • Lead the configuration and deployment of Performance Analytics — data collections, indicator sources, automated/manual indicators, breakdown sources, and interactive dashboards to monitor HR SLAs, bottlenecks, and operational efficiency.
  • Implement strict data governance, row-level security, and Access Control Lists (ACLs) to safeguard sensitive HR personnel data and ensure compliance with enterprise privacy standards.
  • Design and maintain secure, automated integrations between ServiceNow HRSD and external HR ecosystems (Workday, SuccessFactors, ADP, identity management systems) using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, and custom Spokes.
  • Direct an agile delivery team; oversee update set governance, scoped application management, deployment pipelines, and platform upgrade testing.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 7+ years of dedicated technical experience within the ServiceNow ecosystem, with a proven track record as a Technical Lead or Solutions Architect.
  • Hands-on experience developing within the HR Scoped Application structure, including configuring complex Lifecycle Events, HR Service Mappings, and specialized fulfillment instructions.
  • Deep technical understanding of ServiceNow PA architecture — building advanced scripts for data collection, configuring targets/thresholds, and constructing highly interactive, responsive dashboards.
  • Expert-level JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.
  • Experience building and modifying widgets using HTML, CSS, and AngularJS within Employee Center or Service Portal.
  • Deep understanding of ServiceNow schema relationships, domain separation, and database performance tuning.
  • Strong experience delivering solutions within Agile/Scrum lifecycles.

Preferred Certifications (one or more highly desirable):

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Certified Implementation Specialist – HR Service Delivery (CIS-HRSD)
  • Micro-Certification – Performance Analytics
