Job Description: Senior HR Business Partner 

Location: Bangalore 

Role Type: Full-Time  

Role Overview: 

The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) will play a critical role in shaping the people strategy for the business by partnering closely with senior leaders and managers. This role is responsible for driving all aspects of the employee lifecycle, elevating employee experience, strengthening organizational culture, and enabling business outcomes through strategic HR interventions. The ideal candidate brings strong stakeholder management skills, a deep understanding of HR practices, and the ability to influence and challenge leaders to build high-performing, future-ready teams. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Strategic Business Partnership: 

  • Partner with business leaders to understand priorities and translate them into actionable people strategies. 

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on workforce management, organization design, and talent decisions. 

  • Use data-driven insights to shape strategic recommendations on performance, capability, and engagement. 

Employee Lifecycle Management: 

  • Own and optimize all stages of the employee lifecycle—from onboarding to exit—ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience. 

  • Lead initiatives around onboarding, performance management, internal mobility, and offboarding. 

  • Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, processes and labour regulations. 

Employee Relations & Culture: 

  • Lead employee relations cases with fairness, empathy, and a solution-oriented approach. 

  • Coach managers on handling sensitive conversations, conflict resolution, and people leadership. 

  • Foster an open, inclusive, and high-trust culture by enabling communication, recognition, and continuous feedback. 

Employee Experience & Engagement 

  • Design and execute initiatives to enhance employee experience across touchpoints. 

  • Interpret engagement data to identify focus areas and drive targeted action plans with business leaders. 

  • Champion a positive and enabling work environment that reflects the organization’s values. 

Governance, Policy, and Process Excellence 

  • Ensure adherence to HR policies and partner with COEs to continuously improve HR processes. 

  • Drive HR operational excellence and maintain a strong control environment. 

  • Leverage HR systems and analytics to create efficiency and enhance the employee experience. 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • HRBP or core HR experience, ideally in a dynamic, high-growth, or technology-driven environment. 

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence, coach, and challenge senior stakeholders. 

  • Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, and organizational change. 

  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to work with ambiguity, drive clarity, and create impact in a fast-moving environment.
