*Job Summary:*
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Human Resources management and industrial relations at our manufacturing facility. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the garment or textile industry, capable of developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business objectives and local labor laws. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, an effective communicator, and a champion of employee welfare and productivity.
 
*Key Responsibilities:*
 
- *Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:*
    - Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract, hire, and retain skilled talent for factory operations, from shop floor workers to supervisory staff.
    - Oversee the entire recruitment cycle, including job posting, screening, interviewing, selection, and comprehensive onboarding processes.
    - Strategize to minimize employee turnover and ensure a steady pipeline of skilled labor.
- *Industrial Relations & Compliance:*
    - Ensure strict adherence to all labor laws, factory acts, and local regulations relevant to the garment industry.
    - Manage industrial relations, union negotiations (if applicable), and maintain harmonious employee relations to prevent conflicts and ensure smooth operations.
    - Prepare for and manage statutory audits (e.g., social compliance, buyer audits, government inspections) and implement necessary corrective actions.
    - Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution fairly and lawfully.
- *HR Policy & Administration:*
    - Develop, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in line with organizational goals and legal requirements.
    - Oversee payroll processing, attendance, leave management, and benefits administration for all factory employees.
    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and generate reports on key HR metrics such as absenteeism, attrition, and manpower costs.
- *Performance Management & Development:*
    - Design and implement performance management systems, including appraisals, feedback mechanisms, and career development plans for employees.
    - Identify training needs and organize relevant training and development programs to enhance employee skills, productivity, and safety awareness.
    - Foster a positive and productive workplace culture, promoting employee engagement and motivation.
- *Employee Welfare & Safety:*
    - Ensure the implementation of statutory welfare measures and maintain a safe, healthy, and ethical working environment.
    - Oversee workplace safety initiatives, including fire safety training, first aid, and emergency evacuation procedures.
    - Address employee welfare concerns promptly and effectively.
 
*Qualifications:*
 
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- 10-15 years of progressive HR experience, with a significant portion in the garment, textile, or manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance, and industrial relations practices.
- Proven experience in managing a large workforce, preferably in a factory setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software/information systems (HRIS) and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
 
Work Location: Namakkal, Rasipuram.
