Stipend: ₹15,000 per month
About - TANUH, the AI Center of Excellence in Healthcare, is established at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru and supported by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The AI-CoE is dedicated to developing scalable artificial intelligence solutions for the effective management of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) at the point of care. TANUH serves as a multidisciplinary hub that brings together clinical experts, data scientists, and AI technologists to design and implement AI-driven tools for early diagnosis, risk prediction, monitoring, and personalized interventions for major NCDs such as oral cancer, breast cancer, retinal diseases, diabetes and mental health. About the Role
We’re looking for an HR Intern who is excited about hiring, people, and building teams from the ground up. If you enjoy speaking with candidates, managing multiple roles, and working in a dynamic environment — this role is for you.
This is not a passive internship — you will be actively involved in real hiring and HR decisions.
What You’ll Do
🚀 Recruitment (Core Focus)
Own sourcing for open roles (LinkedIn, job portals, referrals)
Screen candidates and coordinate interviews end-to-end
Work closely with hiring managers on requirements
Maintain trackers and ensure a smooth candidate experience
Support in closing positions efficiently
⚙️ HR & People Operations
Assist in onboarding and documentation
Maintain employee data and HR records
Support in drafting HR communications and letters
Contribute to employee engagement initiatives
Work on HR projects and process improvements
What We’re Looking For
Strong interest in recruitment / HR
Excellent communication skills (spoken & written)
Highly organized and proactive
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setup
Comfortable working from office (IISc campus)
