To build and sustain a deeply human, values-driven, and high-performing conscious organisation by shaping culture, strengthening people systems, and enabling every individual—from artisans to executives—to flourish with dignity, purpose, and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Culture Stewardship & Values Integration

  • Embody and champion the founder mentality—simplicity, humility, service and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Ensure Jaipur Rugs' values are lived daily, not just articulated—across hiring, onboarding, leadership behaviour, and performance systems.
  • Design rituals, practices, and communication that reinforce unity across hierarchy and geography.

2. Transformational Leadership

  • Lead HR as a strategic partner to the Managing Director and leadership team, shaping long-term organisational evolution.
  • Build leadership capability across the organisation through coaching, mentoring, and values-aligned development pathways.
  • Foster a culture of psychological safety, accountability, and continuous learning.

3. Talent Strategy and Development

  • Oversee end-to-end talent management: recruitment, development, succession planning, and retention.
  • Create pathways for artisans, grassroots leaders, and young professionals to grow meaningfully within the organisation.
  • Strengthen diversity, inclusion, and equitable opportunity across all levels.

4. HR Systems, Processes & Governance

  • Build robust, transparent, and compassionate HR systems that balance rigour with humanity.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, ethical standards, and Jaipur Rugs' commitment to dignity and fairness.
  • Implement data-driven HR practices while preserving the organisation's human touch.

5. Employee Well-Being & Community Flourishing

  • Support and liaison with the head of the department of holistic wellbeing—emotional, physical, social, and economic—across the Jaipur Rugs ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with community teams to ensure artisans' voices, needs, and aspirations are integrated into organisational decisions.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance belonging, pride, and purpose.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Above 12 years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally in purpose-driven or people-centric organisations.
  • Proven ability to lead cultural transformation and build hightrust environments.
  • Experience working with diverse communities, grassroots teams, or artisan-based ecosystems is a strong advantage.
  • Deep alignment with Jaipur Rugs' philosophy of dignity, empathy, craftsmanship, and interconnectedness.
  • Education level is undergraduate plus.
