Job Description:
Ocuco is excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a proactive, personable, and outcomes-focused Head of Marketing to lead our Product Marketing and Client Digital Marketing teams. The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of strategic vision, hands-on marketing expertise, and outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and with clients. This role will be pivotal in contributing to the success of major international product launches, including the growth of our flagship product, Acuitas 3, through both digital channels and in-person initiatives. Experience in niche B2B SaaS marketing is highly desired and will be a distinct advantage.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a cross-functional marketing team, split between product & brand marketing and client digital marketing.
- Be a personable and approachable leader, building trust and rapport within the team to foster a collaborative, motivated, and high-performing marketing culture
- Empower direct reports to achieve marketing goals, ensuring each team member has the support, guidance, and development opportunities to succeed
Strategic Marketing & Brand Development
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy promoting Ocuco’s products and company brand in alignment with overall business objectives
- Drive brand positioning and messaging, ensuring consistent communication across all channels
- Lead Acuitas 3 growth strategy, creating online and in-person initiatives to increase awareness, interest, and adoption across target markets
- Craft and implement effective digital lead generation strategies, using customer insights and data-driven marketing tactics
- Leverage industry events to increase brand visibility and generate qualified leads, supporting the sales team for success in critical markets
- Lead major international product launches for Acuitas 3, developing launch plans and aligning strategies with global business objectives
- Collaborate with Sales and CRO to ensure lead quality, conversion rate optimisation, and consistent pipeline growth, maximising campaign and lead tracking insights
Client Digital Marketing & Account Management
- Oversee the Client Digital Marketing team to ensure high-quality service delivery, with a focus on client satisfaction, retention and growth
- Develop strategies and products to enhance client acquisition
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, embodying a client-centric approach that translates their needs into effective marketing initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with the CEO, CRO, Sales, Product and Operations teams to ensure cohesive marketing activity planning and execution
- Provide insights and recommendations to the executive management team based on competitive analysis, event feedback, and performance metrics
- Represent the customer’s voice, promoting a client-centric approach to marketing that resonates internally and externally
The successful candidate must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years focused on lead generation, preferably in a SaaS environment
- Demonstrated success in nurturing, managing, and growing marketing talent
- Proven experience in launching major products globally and driving growth through online and in-person strategies
- Ability to leverage industry events for brand building and lead generation
- Outstanding communication, leadership, and people skills
- Ability to build strong, trust-based relationships across all levels of the organisation and with clients
