A purpose-driven organisation is looking for a self-motivated Software Developer to join a technology team focused on building systems that support large-scale operations and data-driven campaigns across South Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities
This role suits someone who wants to use technology to create real-world impact while working in a fast-paced, outcome-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain front-end and back-end systems aligned to organisational objectives.
Build web applications using React and Node.js.
Support the deployment and ongoing use of the organisation’s software infrastructure.
Extract, transform, and analyse operational data for reporting purposes.
Develop systems to track project and campaign performance.
Support internal users with technical solutions.
Contribute to improving development pipelines, deployment processes, and best practices.
Minimum Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a relevant practical qualification.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in software development using JavaScript / TypeScript.
At least 1 years' experience developing front-ends with React and back-ends using Node.js.
Experience with SQL databases.
Understanding of software development principles, methodologies, and best practice.
Knowledge of version control, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
