Job Description:
Our team designs and maintains marketing tools and products within Ubisoft. We leverage the cloud, data, and business intelligence to help teams make informed decisions. We enable marketing and production teams to better interact with players throughout their Ubisoft journey.
What you will do:
The main responsibilities related to this position include, but are not limited to: - Design, develop, and test technical solutions, ensuring optimal performance and sustainable maintainability. - Ensure that the data library is complete, well-structured, and properly documented. - Propose ideas to improve applications, procedures, and technologies used. - Collaborate with internal data teams on data architecture aspects to support reliable data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data. - Perform the necessary data transformations to enable exploitation by users and/or AI systems. - Participate in the physical and logical design of databases. - Monitor and track data quality (reliability, consistency, integrity). - Create new processes and automate, standardize, and optimize existing ones. - Leverage AI solutions (coding agents and others) to accelerate and enhance solution delivery.
Qualifications:
What you bring to the team: - A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or equivalent. - Approximately 5 years of experience in data engineering (or related experience). - Excellent understanding of data pipeline development and data storage system design. - Experience with source code management systems (Git or TFS). - Design, implementation, and consumption of web services and APIs. - Data analysis tools and systems: Excel, Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, Python, SQL. - Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills. - A collaborative and innovative mindset. - Motivation to make complex information accessible and understandable to everyone. - Willingness to step out of your comfort zone and continuously learn and try new things.
