$1,200 - $1,500 USD yearly
CDL A Truck Driver – Regional / OTR Dry Van
Hiring Area: Mobile, AL
Earn between $1,300 and $1,450 weekly running steady interstate freight with predictable home time every other weekend.
Steady interstate freight keeps this operation moving with routes that stay consistent from week to week. Dispatch planning ensures loads are lined up ahead of time, allowing drivers to stay productive without long gaps between runs. This position works well for drivers who want reliable income and a schedule that remains predictable.
Freight Network
Dry van loads moving across multi-state lanes with most freight being no-touch. Average haul length runs around 700–750 miles, which helps maintain strong weekly mileage. A mix of drop-and-hook and live loads keeps runs balanced while repeat customers help keep freight consistent.
Equipment Setup
Drivers operate 2021 or newer Freightliner and Kenworth tractors with automatic transmissions. Most trucks are equipped with APUs, inverters, and refrigerators to support comfort on longer hauls. Maintenance is handled through the company shop network to help reduce downtime.
Run Structure
12-day operating cycles followed by a full 48-hour reset every other weekend. Trips are typically assigned in advance so drivers know their next move before completing the current load. This setup helps keep schedules steady and miles consistent.
Pay & Benefits
Drivers typically earn between $1,300 and $1,450 per week depending on miles and experience. Detention pay is provided for qualifying delays. After six months, drivers become eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
