Position Summary
The Developer/Analyst develops and maintains software in support of campus business and initiatives. This position works within the campus Student Information System [ SIS ], PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, to create software solutions. In addition, this position will also create and maintain solutions in tools such as Visual Studio, and data extract, transform, load [ ETL ] tools such as Informatica. The Developer/Analyst works with campus stakeholders to cultivate functional requirements from requests. The position is responsible for creating technical documentation and providing recommendations to make software more efficient. This position operates under the supervision of the Assistant Director of ITS /Enterprise Services. The position will perform within the established goals and priorities consistent with the Information Technology Services unit and articulated by the Chief Information Officer.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a technology related field from an accredited 4-year college or university (or equivalent field related experienced). Knowledge of database systems and supporting software. Experience writing SQL and querying databases. Experience programming in .Net, Java, and other object orientated languages.

Preferred Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Application Designer and PeopleCode. Experience using ETL tools such as Informatica. Experience leading IT projects. Experience cultivating functional requirements from requests. Experience in developing technical documentation. Excellent organization, problem-solving/troubleshooting and communication skills.
